A controlled environment for the work that wins races.

A Precision Lab is a measurement-driven RC prep workspace. Carbon-fiber reference plane. Calibrated gauges. World-champion brands — Avid, Hudy, Pro-Line, Koswork — organized to a 5S standard. The same lab that wins Saturday's main is the lab that prepped the car on Friday.

We run it two ways. In-store at our shop in Dallas Center, where you drop your car and pick it up race-ready. Or trackside — in a shipping container we park at your event, with our tech on board. Same equipment. Same procedures. Same setup card.

From drop-off to race-ready.

Same flow for in-store and trackside. Photographed, signed, and archived at every step. Your car never leaves chain of custody.

    Photo intake. Written condition report. We sign. You sign. Your existing setup card (if you have one) becomes the starting reference.

    Lab work

    Geometry pass on the carbon reference plane. Tire prep. Shock service on the dyno. Dyno on the motor. Real-time updates by SMS as we go.

  3. 03STEP

    Quality check

    Pre-pickup verification on the setup board. Final tire balance. Battery on a verified charger. Race-ready before the keys leave our hands.

    Pickup

    Printed setup card with every measurement before and after. PDF emailed. Card archived to your service history. Race-ready handoff.

When you pick the car up, you don’t get an oral summary. You get a printed setup card — one page, ten lines — recording every measurement we took, every change we made, and the technician who signed it off.

We store every card digitally. Accessible to you anytime. Every car we service has an auditable service history and lab card for the work we performed.

How fast can you turn around an in-store service?

Pre-race tune-ups are same-day if dropped before 11 AM (~90 min on the bench). Full prep is 1–2 days. Kit builds run about a week. Diagnostic clinics are 1 hour, by appointment.

What do I need to bring with my car?

The car, the body if separate, your charged race packs, and your current tire compounds. If you have a setup card from a previous service or another shop, bring it — we use it as the starting reference and ship the new card as a delta.

How is my car stored while it’s with you?

Locked service area, monitored. Each intake includes a photo log and written condition report; both you and the technician sign at drop-off. Cars are insured up to declared value while on premises. Full chain-of-custody details are reviewed at intake.

How does the trackside rental actually work?

You tell us the event, the dates, and the venue. We deliver a 20-ft Event Lab or 40-ft High Cube Pro Lab to the track, set it up, and run it for the weekend. Our technician travels with the container and operates it. After the event, we pack out and head home.

Can I reserve the lab for my home track for a season?

Yes — "Permanent install" is exactly that. We park a Pro Lab at your home track on an annual rental. Track owner pays a flat fee; racers use it as part of their entry. We handle equipment refreshes and consumables.

What if I'm not local to Dallas Center?

Two paths. (1) Ship your car: we run the service, ship it back race-ready with the setup card. (2) Book the trackside rental at your event so we come to you. We currently serve regional and national-level events across the Midwest — get in touch with your race calendar.

Do you sell the equipment in the lab?

Some of it — the Yeah Racing pit scale, Koswork vacuum pump, ProTek tools, Pro-Line pit mats, etc. — is also stocked in the shop. The shock dyno and chassis dyno aren’t for sale; they live in the lab. Ask us if there’s a specific tool you’d like to spec into your own pit setup.

Why "Precision Lab" and not "setup shop"?

Because the work is metrology, not opinion. Calibrated reference plane, calibrated gauges, recorded measurements before and after — that’s a lab, not a workbench. We use the term to set the bar for what comes out of it.
