The weekend

Run into the night, under the lights. No more grinding laps in the afternoon sun. Friday sessions run late into the evening, when the air is cooler, the track hooks up, and the place looks its best with the lights on. Stay late, throw in another pack, hang out with the crew, sleep in the grass.

Event FAQ

  • What is Run Till You're Done at The RC Compound?

Run Till You're Done is a Friday night open-run format that pushes track sessions late into the evening under the lights. Instead of grinding laps in the afternoon sun, you wait out the heat and run when the air is cooler and the track hooks up. Check the full schedule on [our events page](/race/events).

  • Why run at night instead of during the day?

Cooler air and a more consistent track surface. Once the sun's off the dirt, traction comes up, tire wear settles down, and lap times get more honest. It's also just a better hang — lights on, crew around, no heat exhaustion between packs.

  • How late can I run on Friday nights?

Sessions run late into the evening — the whole point is to stay, throw in another pack, and not feel rushed off the track. If you want exact cutoff times for the next Friday, confirm on [the events page](/race/events) before you load up.

  • Can I camp or sleep over at the track?

Yeah — "sleep in the grass" is part of the deal. Plenty of drivers stay late, hang out with the crew, and crash on-site rather than driving home tired. Bring a tent or set up at your pit and make a weekend of it.

  • What should I bring for a Friday night run session?

Extra packs are the big one — the format is built around getting more runs in, so charged batteries make or break your night. Bring lighting for your pit area, bug spray, a chair, and tires suited to a cooler, higher-bite track. Stock up on anything you're short on at [the shop](/shop) before you head out.
