Open Track Moves to Friday Nights — Welcome to “Run Till You’re Done”

The Tuesday “Run What You Brung” open track — the come-as-you-are, run-whatever-you’ve-got session you’ve turned into a midweek habit — is moving to Friday nights, with a new name to match its new attitude: Run Till You’re Done. The last Tuesday session was June 2. Friday is the night now.
The idea you already love stays exactly the same: bring whatever you’ve got, get on the track, and run it however you want. What changes is everything around it — and all of it is an upgrade.
Why we’re moving it to Friday
- Run into the night, under the lights. No more grinding laps in the afternoon sun. Friday sessions run late into the evening, when the air is cooler, the track hooks up, and the place looks its best with the lights on.
- No alarm clock looming. Most of us aren’t up for work on Saturday morning, so there’s no reason to pack up early. Stay late, throw in another pack, hang out with the crew, sleep in the grass.
- It lines up with the whole race weekend. Friday open track now flow into weekends for other planned race events. Warm up Friday night, race the weekend — one trip, the whole program.
- Camping is on the table. Because it’s a weekend instead of a school night, you can roll in, set up camp, and make a night (or two) of it.
- Room for more than laps. When we are ready, a full Friday-to-Sunday lineup gives us space to build in extra activities and events around the racing. We’ve got plans — stay tuned.
What’s staying the same
Don’t overthink it. It’s still open track, still run-what-you-brung, still the most laid-back wheels-down session on our calendar. New night, new name, same welcome — whether you’re a regular or you’ve never turned a lap here before.
When it starts
